Different types of wooden flooring:

  • Engineered hardwood Flooring

  • Solid Hardwood Flooring:

Engineered Hardwood Flooring is a modified version of entire wood Flooring model. Manufacturers have tried to eradicate all the entire wood Flooring flaws in this model. Engineered Hardwood Flooring is available in several types of double-layer, three-layer and multi-layer.

If we want to mention the weaknesses of the entire Hardwood Flooring, we can point to the following two:
• Lack of proper moisture control in different climates
 • Limitation in the size of the Hardwood Flooring.

In the production of Engineered Hardwood Flooring, attempts were made to solve the problems and disadvantages that exist in the structure and installation method of Solid Hardwood Flooring.

Various types of Engineered Hardwood Flooring
The Engineered Hardwood Flooring is produced in two, three or more layers.
Two-layered Engineered Hardwood Flooring:
The Flooring consists of two layers. The under layer of this Flooring is made up of softwood, such as pine, and the floor(top) layer is made of wood like oak, beech, walnut and so on. Two-layered Floorings are installed using “click-and-lock” system.

Three-layered Engineered Hardwood Flooring:
The Flooring consists of three layers. Usually the upper layer and the under layer are of the same wood while soft wood is used in the core or middle layer. This type of Flooring has a higher stability and higher value in comparison to double-layered Flooring.

Multi-layer Engineered Hardwood Flooring:
This type of Flooring is one of the best and most qualified wooden Flooring available. Multi-layer engineered Flooring’s upper layer is made of a high quality wood layer based on customer's choice and Waterproof Ply Wood (WBP-Water Boiled Proof), in its underlying layer.

Solid Hardwood Flooring:

These types of wooden floorings were, in fact, older models of wooden Flooring that had less resistance in terms of durability and heat, moisture, scratch, etc., in comparison to engineered flooring their tile parts were made entirely of wood, such as oak or walnut. The boards of this type of wood flooring have been sold and used by consumers all around the world for at least 100 years.

Of course, as mentioned above, with the introduction of engineered flooring, such laminate Flooring became outdated. Nevertheless, the popularity of this type of flooring and the purchase of Solid Flooring laminate by customers has been mainly due to:

1. Length: Due to the fact that the tiles of this kind of flooring were entirely made of the main parts of the wood of the trees, they were often known as a durable and stable flooring. Some homeowners chose this type of flooring to make the product more durable, with the possibility to support and replace their parts.

2. Secure choice: To have a flooring that lasts for many years and is resistant to dirt or carpet, furniture or any other means on its top, and has a durable surface, this flooring can be used. It is also capable of polishing and glossing after several years.
